As CEO of Blackwell & King, Angie Blackwell oversees the day-to-day operations and is in charge of account management and development. Previously, Angie was an industry leader in the field of human healthcare recruiting and staffing, overseeing the placement of hundreds of physicians in hospitals and primary care facilities all across the United States. Angie found her true professional niche in the recruiting and staffing industry and loved the bond that she developed with the doctors that she helped find jobs, and with the clients that she helped by solving their recruiting and staffing issues. Having grown up as the daughter of a Veterinarian and watching the struggles that her father went through to source and secure the right candidates for his practice, it was a natural progression for Angie to feel driven to use her talents for recruiting and staffing to help the Veterinary Industry. That is why she decided to combine her knowledge of recruiting and staffing with her love of veterinary medicine to create Blackwell & King.
Karen Bostick, Business Manager As Business Manager of Blackwell & King, Karen Bostick sets strategic direction for the company, handles all financial management and assists with the management of day-to-day operations. Karen has a BA from Troy University and is a Certified Professional in Human Resources. She is currently working on her second degree in Accounting and Business Administration. Karen brings to the table her experience as a veterinary practice manager and over 15 years of experience in business, accounting and human resource management. Christie Williamson, HR Manager Christie Williamson is the manager of Human Resources and also leads the HR Management and Consulting team at Blackwell & King. Christie has over 10 years experience in HR Management and Consulting along with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Master's degree in HR Management. Her industry experience includes: healthcare, distribution, manufacturing and insurance. She has broad HR management skills with particular expertise in the areas of staffing, benefit administration, employment law and employee relations. |
